Dever Architects and Acadia Realty Trust brought new life to this former 1950's Sears Roebuck department store and adjacent Auto Center when we completely redesigned both buildings to welcome a new Target store to the second and third floors of the main building. This required that we relocate the other tenants - present since the 1980's conversion of the property into a mall. When the 158,000-square-foot Target opened in the fall of 2001, it joined TJ Maxx (27,000 sf), Old Country Buffet (9,300 sf), Sprint (2,500 sf), Andy's Artware (1,200 sf), Dan's Cleaners (1,500 sf), Sloms Uniforms (1,800 sf), Firestone (6,200 sf), Great Clips (650 sf) and Payless Shoe Source (3,200 sf).
