Dever Architects is pleased to have been selected by the Remington Group and to work with them as the architects for the new Darby Town Center.  The 42,000 square foot, $9 million retail center is located at 150 South MacDade Boulevard on a site that was abandoned for several decades.  In addition to a Save-A-Lot Food Store, which we were also the architects for, eight other tenants completed the complex including DEAL$, Popeye's, Hair World and Hilldale Kitchen.

The Darby Town Center development is a significant community revitalization project as it was the area's first major economic development project in over 30 years.   Darby Borough celebrated the grand opening of the 17,000 square-foot Save-A-Lot in December 2010, making it the Center's first retailer to open their doors to the public and the community's only grocery store.

Dever Architects is proud of our role in the completion of the Save-A-Lot in 200 calendar days.  Dever Architects has now been the architects for well over 100 Supervalu / Albertsons projects in four states including new and remodeled Acme and Save-A-Lot supermarkets and grocery stores.
