Construction of Sun East Federal Credit Union's new three-story 24,000-square-foot operations center addition began in November 1999 and was completed in the spring of 2001.  To integrate the addition with SEFCU's existing single-story office building, as well as SEFCU's Main Branch office also located on the property, the architect selected similar materials and finishes for the facade.

A feature element of the design is the "glass box" projection at the third-floor employee lunch room that provides views of the surrounding landscape out to the Commodore Barry Bridge.

This addition will enable Sun East Federal Credit Union to better serve its members and will allow for new branch offices in the future.
